I stole the camera
I always love the camera. If someone takes my picture I always want to see it right away on the back of the camera. I seriously have no idea how you old people got by waiting days sometimes weeks before seeing your pictures.
Today dad left the camera on the coffee table. He was so busy writing in his work blog he didn't even know I took the camera.
Here are pictures from the point of view of a three year old.
Mommy of course is the first picture I wanted to take.
I love my little brother, but sometimes all he ever does is follow me around. Right now that is ok.
This is Berk from my point of view.
This is the big giant guy house.
This is Berks swing that dady just got from the store.
This is my Harley. I park it outside in the rain. Driving all the way around the house to daddy's garage is way to far.
This is my flame bike. I ride this one on the streets with daddy.
This is Aunty Joni's green monster truck. If you look close you can see where I touched up the paint.
Berk can't follow me up here.

Third birthday
Well I'm not going to wait over a year to write again. I'm back with pictures of my third birthday.
I had this great birthday cake -
Berk evidentially liked it too.
I may not know a lot of 3 year olds, but I know enough people to fill this table.
My favorite Great Aunt Kay couldn't make it to the birthday party, but she did send some wonderful presents. "the birthday Monsters are Coming" by Sandra Boynton and this great truck.
Thank you everyone who came to my birthday party and gave me such wonderful presents.
Ian
I think my little brother is getting jealous of all the computer time I get. Look to read his blog in the future probably at berkleyjmurphy.blogspot.com

Moving not moving

One of the reasons it has been so long since I last posted is because mom and dad tried to move to Kentucky. As you know the cost of living in Kentucky is cheaper than McHenry. The problem is the housing market died right about the time that they put the house on the market. About a year and a half later they gave up trying to sell the place. It is a more complicated, but we don't want to get into that with a lawsuit still pending. Suffice it to say that dad returned home just in time to greet my new baby brother Berk.
It would seem that the market for teachers in the far Northwest Suburbs is not very hot. The real problem I think is that dad is too experienced and too educated to really get a shot at a teaching job. How else do you explain only one phone interview all summer?
The market outside of teaching isn't much better. I suspect that an education degree isn't very impressive to most business owners. Dad did finally get a job selling Aflac. He has made some money, but the cold calling sucks. Mom has started a business doing upholstery, refinishing furniture, and redecorating houses. She sold some dressers and a table so far. Go Mom.
Dad is also getting into politics. As you know I am a democrat and have been for all of my 35 months of life, dad however has chosen to help out a Republican. I guess it really is who is the best candidate.
Back

Well I finally got my little fingers back on the keyboard. I would give you some excuse to explain why it's been so long, but I just don't have the energy.
Let's see on my last post I turned one year old. Back then I was just learning about presents. Since that time I have gone through two Christmas' and another birthday. I know all about presents. I love opening presents, but I also like to wrap a present and give it away. Then again I really love playing with my cars and trucks.
