Looking for a job. Dad has been spending a lot of time hanging out on the computer, and not all of it has been a big waste of time.
He has been jobless for quite some time now. Originally, the plan was to leave work in May and spend the summer with me, then get a new teaching job at the beginning of the new school year.
The only problem is dad isn't so great at finding a job. He has great teaching credentials and stuff, but we think his lack of interviewing skills is really what is killing him.
Now of course the school year is almost half over and the teaching jobs are far and few between.
He is of course doing some part-time work here and there, substituting and stuff, but he really needs some full-time work. If only to get mom to stop complaining. Plus, another paycheck to help pay the bills would be helpful also.
I think dad should sit down and finish writing that book or two he has been talking about for ages. The only problem is he can't seem to put two coherent thoughts together.
Anyway, if you know of any high paying jobs, especially something in education, tell em dad is looking for them.
